App support
The Pooldex app for iPhone is coming soon to the App Store. This is its official support page, and the answers below describe version 1.0.

Inside the app, open Settings › Send feedback. The message opens with your last water test attached, so we can see the numbers you entered and the dose the app gave you. You can read and remove anything before you send it.
What helps us answer quickly: your iPhone model and iOS version, the app version (Settings › About), your pool type and volume, and what you expected to happen. Please don't send photos of documents or anything with personal details.
Sync and iCloud
There is no account. Your pools, tests, and doses sync through your own private iCloud, which we cannot read. If a test entered on one device doesn't show up on another:
- make sure both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account and iCloud is on for Pooldex in the Settings app;
- open the app on both devices while online, and give it a few minutes;
- check that your iCloud storage isn't full.
The app works fully offline. Anything you enter at the pool without a signal syncs the next time you are online.
Reminders not arriving
Reminders are local notifications created on your iPhone, not messages from our server. If they don't show up:
- open the iOS Settings app, go to Notifications › Pooldex, and turn on Allow Notifications;
- check whether a Focus mode (such as Sleep or Do Not Disturb) is silencing them at that time;
- after restoring or moving to a new iPhone, open the app once so it can schedule your reminders again.
Price: free, with no subscriptions
Version 1.0 of Pooldex is free, with every feature unlocked. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no ads, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing to restore.
We plan to offer an optional paid upgrade, Pooldex Plus, in a later version. Dose calculations will stay free. When Plus goes on sale, this page will explain how to manage or cancel it. Apple will handle every purchase, so we will never see your payment details.
Export your data (CSV/PDF)
Your data is yours. In Settings › Export you can save every test and dose as a CSV file for free, which opens in Numbers, Excel, or Google Sheets. You can also save a PDF report with charts, handy for a pool service or a home sale. Exports are created on your device and shared only where you choose.
Known issues and changelog
No released versions yet. Version 1.0 is coming soon to the App Store. Each version will be listed here with its date, what changed, and any known issue with a workaround. Changes to dosing formulas are also logged on our methodology page, so the site and the app always match.
